In 1950, BSADCV began mining operations of high quality barite extracted from owned mines located north and south of Mexico. Today, over 60 years of experience in the extraction, grinding and distribution of Barium Sulfate (BaSo4) has made BSADCV a recognized producer of quality product.

Actual production exceeds 165k tons per year and has BaSo4 reserves of approximately 7 million tons. This reserve can supply customers at current production more than 4 decades. In these 60 years, our company has managed to ship product to many areas in Mexico, Central & South America and now the USA.

VP Trading Company distribution plant is located in Progreso, TX and has the capacity to warehouse 4k tons of finished product in Jumbo sacks and 100k of ore product.

We offer transportation service via truck. Our logistics department will provide the best possible solution in the most cost effective approach. Product packaging includes 100lb sacks, jumbo sacks (Dry Van & Flatbeds), and in bulk (Pneumatic tanks). VP Trading Company always has a large reserve of product in warehouse for customers requiring BaSo4 by an unanticipated order and/or a critical job.

VP Trading Company offers 3 truck scales for in-bound/out-bound for those large orders where quickness is needed and every important for keeping record, the track all vehicles, drivers, date, product, and weight shipped in and out. This supports to maintain well documentation of all movement in our facility.

Grounded barite is used to increase density for oi and water-based drilling fluids. Our product meets the API drilling fluids materials and 13A specifications.

Bentonite is mainly used for oil and gas drilling, deep water wells and in other applications where these special characteristics are required. Our product complies with API 13 A Section 9 and the Drilling Fluid Materials specifications.

Available in 90%, also known as calcium hydroxide, plays a significant role in the oil industry, serving a variety of purposes, it is used as an additive in drilling muds to control the mud’s viscosity and to stabilize the borehole, preventing collapse. It also helps in the removal of mud and clay from drilling fluids, enhancing the efficiency of drilling operations
